Its founders came up through external audit at major accounting firms, led digital-transformation programmes, and worked hands-on with the enterprise technology — SAP among it — that runs finance and controls at scale. From those seats, they watched the same problems repeat in every engagement.
The same conflicts hiding in access rights. The same authority matrices no one could keep current. The same gap assessments rebuilt from scratch in a spreadsheet, every time, by every team. The knowledge to fix these existed — it just lived in the heads of a handful of experienced auditors and in folders that never got shared.
That combination matters. Reviewing controls is one discipline; understanding the systems those controls live in — the roles, the transaction codes, the way access really works inside SAP and its peers — is another.
